Alton Towers is the Uk's largest theme park boasting world-class rides, rollercoasters and attractions! This spacious landscape was owned by Sir Alton and left a magnificent mansion! Oblivion is just as magnificent, as the world's first vertical drop coaster this is a thrill factor that will make you coming back for more. You know you shouldn't look down, but you can't help taking a peek of the colossal 90 degree drop! Nemisis is an inverted coaster, so you're under the track with your feet dangling instead of on top of the track. This rollercoaster is certainly ALIEN from the rest of the coasters in Alton Towers as a visitor from outer space has come seal you're fate. Do you dare face Nemisis? Ever feel like you want to Fly away? Well now you can with Air, the flying coaster. Assume the position, now fly as you take to the skies and soar like a bird! This ride is not to be missed! Rita Queen of Speed will leave you blown away with Her tremendous speed. 0-60 in 2.5 seconds! It's a shame you can't drive it away to show your mates! Do you have sore thumbs? Are you feeling dizzy? You will be after riding the Spinball Wizzer, the rollercoaster that spins while going around the track! And if that isn't enough, you'll go through a vertical turn, which will make you really sick..... Hint and Tips The best time to go is in the school time, there will absolutely no queues whatsoever which will really make your day! If not in the school time, try the Easter or Christmas holidays as there isn't as much people around! Whatever you do, DO NOT go on bank holidays, waste of time and money especially if it's a day trip! If it is very crowded, try Fasttrack, it might cost more money, but it takes you straight to the ride! If your not in any rush to get to your home/hotel ect. queue up for the ride before just before closing time. Even if the queue is 2hrs long you will still get to ride! My top tip is to use the single rider queue, it doesn't cost anything and sometimes it's even better than fasttrack! But be warned! On really busy days this might take longer or as longer on that queue line! MY RATING FOR ALTON TOWERS IS AN 8/10 ! On the map on the bottom right hand corner.
